Can I ask, has an HFT event ever been cancelled due to bad weather anywhere?

Yes, a UKAHFT round at Woodlands was cancelled a few years ago, due to the ground being completely flooded.

Turned up and all you buggers had buggered off. Had a good chat with Dave about Basingstoke Bisons hockey team, then I regretfully headed home.
I thought it would have been interesting to shoot in the snow again.Last time I did that was at Iceni marksmen circa 1987ish doing FT(hardy bunch these lads),... really eyrie all the sound was absorbed by the snow and the target just fell, real quiet with a slight fall of snow from the trees branches accompanying it where the target was attached.Intense, one of those moments that doesn't occure often but when it does you always remember it..
It was a kill also, didn't distract me from the main purpose I was there.
