    Colt Navy

    Someone I know has a Colt Navy black powder, single action .44. I think its a copy but does it need a licence?

    If it is a modern working BP replica, it will need an FAC.

    Only antique percussion guns can be owned without a licence. However, if you wish to shoot the said antiques, you will then need a licence.

    It will be a replica. Original Navy's were .36 cal.
