Hi Ed
it's the timber that really attracted me to this rifle, there's plenty of tiger striping on it and the winged BSA on the stock is just so crisp and clear
mind, the metalwork is very nice too

Great pistols. One of these is multicoloured, I know BSA planned to release the 240 in various differen shades, but never though they had done it. Great!
Great pictures! Thanks for sharing
Freedom needs a soldier.
They didn't, the previous owner stripped it, sanded the paint off then polished it...
it's ready for a 'proper' polish, i have a very powerful buffing machine and buffing soap and once i fathom out how to strip it, it'll be like a mirror, i'll then get my brother to give it loads of laquer (he paints bikes, helmets cars etc for a living )
this pistol had been 'customised' in that the grips had milliput epoxy putty applied, fingers squeezed whilst still soft then sanded to a fitted finish for the owner (couldn't get my fat fingers in the grooves though )
some pics of how it was before i attacked it with a belt sander (not finished yet, i have to re-define the edges with a drum sander)
>>>as it was<<<

>>>an' ag'in<<<
BTW, it was done for a left hooker too
