    Question Webley Oil

Does anyone know what is the closest modern equivilent to the old Webley No.1 and No.2 oils?

I had a quick search on here, but you can't search using 'oil' or "No.2"

I think you'll find the last 'Weboil' was basically SAE 30 non detergent oil, as used on garden machinery and for 2/ mixture in the good old days.

    Webley oil

the oil I used for Webley air pistols and lower-powered rifles was "Weboil". I remember a thread on this subject, and it was stated that this was a basic SAE30 engine oil. Webleys own-brand lubrication for their high-powered rifles was called "Weblube" which was a synthetic oil. You may find something in "Search" if you enter "Weboil" and "Weblube".
