It is not something i want to do, Steve, but i also don't want people stuck in the crappy conditions trying to make it to the shoot.

As a non-combatant for this event I would go with Mark and call it in two days time. Ford is a great challenge and there is a weather window at the moment.

Temperature wise its not looking too good. Well below freezing during the day let alone at night!! Dont think the roads will be very nice for sometime yet. Having written off one A8 traveling to an early morning HFT event I'm not so keen to repeat the experience... ..(awaits banter from most of Sussex....)

I was about to post something witty about you & snow/ice Matt... seems we don't have to now.
After driving yesterday, I think I will give any more driving a miss till they sort the roads out a bit.. scary stuff.

Event Postponed - it will now take place on the 7th February

As the weather is clearly not going to get any better, we have taken the decision to postpone this event untill the 7th of Feb.

Please can people make sure as many shooters as possible are informed of this decision.

    Thankyou.

Bummer . I had just purchased a new comfy chair, red tartan travel blanket and a new thermos .... all ready to await your arrival.

Looks like none of us are gonna get to play.
