Just like to say a great big thank you to all who turned up to shoot yesterday and help raise funds for Disabled Target Shooting GB.

A good turnout of some 45 shooters, both club members and visitors, helped raise a grand total of £166.70 for the charity! Well done all!

The weather stayed fine and even the sun came out for a while, the 30 shot HFT course was a mix of easy (ish) and down right difficult, just to keep you on your toes. In between the normal HFT pegs were the occasional ‘Extreme’ peg in red, these 10 extra lanes had a target that you may not necessarily see on a normal course; there was a 9mm kill zone, a reducer up a 40 foot pole 60 yards away, 15mm reducers at 8yards with black plate and paddle that you had difficulty seeing with the naked eye let alone through a ten mag scope! And everything in between. Difficult to say the least, but fun none the less!

The shoot went very well with not a single stoppage all day! Everyone enjoyed themselves and there was the usual banter and ribbing found at all HFT events. Great fun and great company, you can’t beat it!

Of the 39 score cards returned top shot of the day went to visitor Nick Botting with a very impressive 70ex80! Top Bisley member and champion Mars Bar muncher was Ian ‘Coxie’ Cox with 67ex80 (4th overall). Top Junior was visitor Larissa Sykes who as always put the majority of the adults to shame with an impressive 66ex80. Top Bisley junior was young Dan Attfield with an equally impressive 58ex80 on his FIRST ever HFT comp! Well done Dan!

A special thank you must go to the small team of Bisley members who put out 40 individual targets in some rather inventive places over the best part of 6 hours on Boxing Day to build the course for all to enjoy.
