My choice is CCL it gives a piano key smoothness if you take your time.

I've never found it as durable as I'd like for my guns, I use it on the wifes 400 though as that only gets an outing a few times a year it doesn't matter.

I've (almost) finished my QB's stock in Danish oil. Putting on a couple of extra coats, and it's looking good(for second-rate Chinese made stuff anyway).
