    weihrauch hw85

early model .177 hw85 for sale, serial number 1103047.it's the one with the raised scope rail.has the right hand chequered stock with pistol grip capping, stock is a lot darker than many i have seen, stock has a few little dinks but otherwise fine.i have the standard rear sight but the foresight is missing.barrel bluing is wearing a little thin but apart from that it's spot on.
had a new mainspring.washer and breech seal about 6 weeks ago and shoots h&n baracuda match at 11.8 ft/lb.

scope is a hawke hd 4x32 on a one piece mount.
this is a truly reluctant sale of a really nice rifle but i find that it's too heavy for me,i'm a big bloke but prefer a lighter rifle.

i was asked if the rifle had a 26mm or 30 mm compression tube, the tube is 30mm.

£200 ovno, will send via dhl for another £15.collection or meet up somewhere preferred.
payment by cash sent recorded or uncrossed postal order only.

this rifle is listed elsewhere in swaps sections so may end this sale at any time.

In asking to buy this air gun, you are confirming to me that you are over eighteen years old, and that you are not a prohibited person under section 21 of the fire arms act.

    Hw85

    Hi

Sorry to be a pain but do you know what it's muzzle energy is with lighter pellets eg/ H&N FTT or Accupels?

I had a 0.22 model until earlier this year, a delightful gun!

Also, any chance of a pic please?

    Best wishes
    David

Not sure if this is any help to you, but here's my HW85K, completely un-altered from the day it was bought in 1987. It came with the non-chequered ambi stock, which was standard fitment at the time.

That said, a few of the chaps on here have mentioned that some later 85k's were sold with the 77k style stock as fitted to this one for sale.

All in all, looks like a nice little rifle.

The original 1980's version HW85 offered two stock options, the basic non-checkered ambi stock and the 'Luxus' stock as seen on bigchap's rifle.

The Luxus had a longer fore-end covering the breech hinge, proper cheek-piece and checkering on the grip.

Patience, just after Christmas is going to be a bit of a slow time for selling things.

Yep, another thumbs up for the 85 from me! It's a pleasure to shoot.

I'm surprised this hasn't gone yet. When I first joined the bbs & posted about my 85k I had about 10 pm's from members registering interest should it ever become available!

I'm sure it'll be off to a new home soon.
