    Vulcan barrel droop

Hi.Has anybody got any experience with barrel droop on the Mk2 Vulcan.
It is ok uncocked but when the pressure is on it will not lock.
I have looked at the axis pin and although it slides out quite easily,it does not show or feel any signs of wear. The same goes for the latch.

Could it be a combination of the two.Or the latch spring not pushing the latch out far enough?

    Thank you.

Hi there I recently had the same problem, the gun had been fitted with an ox spring, main trigger sear had snapped causing the cocking lever end to bend forward; a new lever cost £32 from j knibbs. Regards Jenny Dipple

sounds to me like your cocking lever is bent, when you cock the rifle the levers t-piece in the piston is catching the end of the piston slot, so your trying to pull the piston foreward against the trigger!

remove the lever then simply check theres not a slight bend in it!
