January UBC 6yd Comp starts today (9th)

    Hi all

The January's 6yd Competition has started today, though to next Sunday.

This is the 3rd round of Season 4. Have a look at the >LEADER BOARD< & >RD2 Combined Results< to see where you're at & what's the form of the competitors. I shall do another combined scores for this round also.

For January we have one sideshoot target courtasy of Jim (Target Bunny)
Now this is a 'serious' target, one dedicated for the better shooter, definetly counts me out . It's a rendition of a Rifle Bench Rest Competition.

edit: With this Sideshoot you can enter more than one pistol & I will post the scores on the score sheet

I'm also thinking of using this target for our next paid competition. As for this one 'will' be for the shoots skill & not just luck

Let me know what you think & I'll take it from there.

    Click >HERE< for details.

    So good luck to everyone.

    Regards
    Paddy.

Well the conditions are near perfect for shooting outside now, totally still, clear and bright......

    .but -2 degrees

so I may have to drop the CO2 this month as there is no way I'm sticking that S&W in my underpants to warm it up

....unless I sneak them all in to work one day, nice and warm in the control room

I may just wait 'till next weekend for the spring class, as there may be a new arrival by then

Yes, very. As I've already posted elsewhere, we may have to reduce it to 3 yards

No no no, as a statement it's quite true. It's not as good as a Gamo Compact; it's a lot better.

Did my Spring and SSP targets yesterday, didn't get chance to do the others today as it's Amy's 2nd birthday.

Damn cold, actually! I'm wearing a sweatshirt under a heavy down jacket, and a knitted hat, whenever I step outside. Ordinarily I'd dress like that maybe 1-2 days each winter here, but with the recent cold spell, it's been like that the past couple of weeks.

The HW40, is a lovely pistol indeed, it's just the person behind the trigger that lets it down

I shot my cards today, I reckon Jef will beat me again with his Compact , but with my first shot on my 2handed & 1handed I got the bullseye. So no presure there Jef
