sorry kids ... failed to make it.
We were up early to find snow. Packed and set off in Anne's tank but gave up after about 2 miles as the roads were treacherous, not gritted. After several ballerina acts at very slow speed and a heart stopping moment at traffic lights when it looked as if we might slide across them, we gave up and, amidst much wheel spin at junctions, got home.
