The one you can consistently hit the target with - possibly none of the above!

Ultimately, I think you will find that the scope you use is more important than the rifle you attach it to.

Feinwerkbau P70FT, But as Scarecrow said at the end of the day it is the rifle that you are most comfortable with. In my opinion the scope is more important than the rifle, I would recommend spending at least 1/3 to 1/2 of the cost of the rifle on the scope.

From what I can see, most of you rate the Steyr lg100 as the best... why?

Daniel Eley has just won the World Championships with an Anschutz, so you could argue that's the best FT gun! (No offence about your shooting abilities Dan)

I voted LG 100 purely because its the only one that lends itself to making it into a cross over.

But I would like to know how tight the FPS spread is over 100 pell's of the three rifles listed.

The one that gives the tightest spread aught to be the most accurate.

The LG 100 butt detaches from the action. Not so with the other two.

Ah, but you can't get one in walnut can you Ray!!!!!!

Anyway, my vote goes tothe P70FT, simply 'cos I've got one and it's the mosy accurate thing I've ever shot (and I've tried most).

Just look at the results from this years GP series. I believe they won again this year.

Mine has just come back from a service and using JSB 4.52 been getting 1/4" groups at 40 yds. Roll on next year when I will competing agin after a few years break. Only downside I can see is that I will be no doubt starting in C Grade again

    Best rifle - now there's a poser !

No simple answer to that. It's down to your own tastes.

All of the above a excellent rifles and that includes Anschutz and Feinwerkbau etc.

I think rippers can be a bit high strung and it all depends how much TLC they get from their creator.

There isnt really an answer to this question, but an expression of pers. choice.

You host didnt ask why. They asked which out of 3 options. Just becaose they put the Steyr first doesnt mean it would be first if the p70 or 2002 were in there ?
