Very rare Airlogic Genesis in .177

Hi all, will probably regret this but here goes
Its one of 2 i believe! The first being Mr Spencer's himself! got some paperwork somewhere for it! got the original .22 barrel too! no:0.38 of 175 made! it has the super delux stock on it! as its 23 years old there are some minor imperfections in the blueing and woodwork as you would expect for its age! but overall in beautiful condition! very consistent and very accurate too! its doing 11 ftlbs in .177, i think about 760 fps with JSB 8.4'grains..
being one of only 2 in this calibre, its extreamly rare gun! a real collectors!
im asking! NOW REDUCED TO £700
    ATB Lee
Oh its fitted with a BSA 8-32X44 scope with sidewheel focus 30mm tube!
    Will get pics up asap!
or pm me your email address!
I cant seem to get pics up!

A rare connoisseurs piece indeed, and I don't believe you are being greedy.
A marvel of British engineering being quirky but also having a reputation for being extremely accurate. Not for me but very good luck with your sale. Looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Was the genesis a single sroke pneumatic sidelever? I seem to remember a chap I knew had one. You would think the concept would have caught on better, all the benefits of a PCP with no tank! (if i am right about the single stroke bit that is!!)

One of the best engineered single stroke pneumatics made. Very reliable and consistent. Had one myself, sold it for £900 a year ago (was in excellent condition though).

TBH I thought only 1 .177 existed, and that belonged to Richard. Just goes to show that you don't know everything

    Hi Lee,

Obviously I can't vouch for the person you're dealing with...I don't know who it is!... but purely from my own personal experience, there is nothing to worry about. I have recently sold my Black Fox to a chap from the Netherlands, the gun is still en route but I have previously sold a Webley Hawk Mk1 to the same chap and the deal went smoothly with no hang-ups, so I was happy to do a deal with him again.

One thing I will say though is that insured postage abroad is very expensive, parcelforce International was pretty much the only option available and it cost me £50.99 to send the BF with adequate insurance cover!

Goodluck whatever you decide to do

    ATB,
    Dave
