    FWB 127 Thread Size

    Hi All
    I am trying to rig up a set of open sights on my FWB 127,and would
    like to know the thread sizes of the two holes on top of the
    breech block,so could any kind person tell me please.

    Most likely M3 or M4.

    Thanks for the reply mate,I can find screws to fit the holes but the
    actual thread is different.

    Hi Tony, one way round this is to use the rearsight from a Weihrauch HW77. This fits on the scope rails, and gives a longer sight-base, so it should be more accurate than the standard one on the breech.

    A nice one can be got secondhand off the BBS for about £20 including post.

    Otherwise, by far the best 'ironsight' you can fit to a Sport is the Beeman Sport Aperture sight, which you can buy online from America for about £50ish. It really is a beautifully made sight, as well engineered as the FWB itself. The aperture is a little larger than the sights on a Match rifle, so they can be used in the field on overcast days.
