Mk1 Meteor Scope Mounts.

Good evening All.

Can I start by saying I hope this is the correct section for this request.

I am looking to fit a modern scope with a 1 inch tube to a BSA Meteor Mk1 And as most of you know there is a slight problem with the width of the raised mounting sections.

I have made numerous enquiries and been told that Sportsmatch do in fact make mounts to fit this rifle.

This is where the problem starts. Sportsmatch themselves and a number of their distributors have been unable to tell me which of their mounts are suitable.

Three other sources have quoted Sportsmatch mounts TO46C, TO48C and TO50C respectively.

Rather than purchase the wrong mounts and be the proud owner of mounts which are not useable I would be most grateful if anyof the knowledgable members could definately say which mounts are the right ones.
