January Police Pistol Competition starts on 23 January...

...and ends at 2200 on 31 January.

Unless I've gotten my Louisiana calendar mixed up (again) with the rest of the world's.

I have to agree with my esteemed fellow Piskateer.
I've just checked the UBC calendar and I reckon the PP starts on 30th January.

Jim must be at the Kentucky Sour Mash again

I thought the Vintage/Plinking rifles, and the Police Pistol, both always started on the 4th Saturday?

Or are we following some "movable feast" schedule for them, where they jump around the calendar?

OK, I get it: Vintage/Plinking, and Police, start on the LAST Saturday of each month: not necessarily the 4th.

But then, in May, they start on the 4th, not the last.

The last weekend in May is Memorial Day weekend in the US: is it also a holiday weekend in the UK?
