    Hi all

We have done a Range Safety Criteria, that will need to be followed at our Meet.

As we are mainly a 'fun' Pistol Club we still want to emulate our safety aspects towards pistol shooting

If you can please read it, any questions just get in touch.

Brief, clear and to the point, nothing much to argue with there Paddy.

    ....but I bet someone will

Don't forget, if you want any help on the range on the day I am willing. I even have my own Acme thunderer and stopwatch, albeit it's analogue clockwork rather than digital quartz.

    Thanks Jef,

It was Nick who writ it up for us, just another way forward for us.

& thanks for your offer of help. We should all have a great day as everyone is willing to help out. That's what makes this club so special in my opinion.

    Regards
    Paddy.

I note the inclusion of an open rifle 10m event on the Sunday. Would you be so kind as to post the entry criteria for the rifle, so's I know which one to bring .
Neither of the two "budget" rifles I'm using in the 6yd open at the moment have scopes so I need to see what else I may have that is eligible (clearly the Daystate would be a bit of an unfair advantage, at least until you see how badly I shoot it it would )

    Hi Jef.

I was just thinking of using the same criteria of the Open Classs that we currently use, Cheap Bottom End Rifles, using the 10m target. What I can do is make it Scoped & Open Sighted. I think it would be interesting to see if an Open Sighted Rifle could actually win it.

Would you be happy with that? Also I'll be bringing a few of my rifles that I use, for people to try out.

    Regards
    Paddy.

Paddy, if it involves pulling a trigger I'm as happy as a pig in pooh.
I just needed a bit of guidance so that I know what to bring, in case there had been any change in criteria moving to 10m.
If we're having an open sight entry then I'll probably stick with the B2. Just a question of whether to slap a scope on the XS78 and go "budget", or dig out the old Airsporter and go "classic" for the optical. So many choices

Mick is there no one that can drive you there??

Coventry to Derby isn't that far. Plus you could take your time on the course & just shoot a few comps perhaps?

    Regards
    Paddy.

    Thumbs up Aim

Can lend you a Hurricane with a trigger guard laser fitted and arrange a seat and bench so you can shoot from the hip.
