Fourth U.B.C MEET & COMPETITION 1st ~ 2nd May

Paddy, if it involves pulling a trigger I'm as happy as a pig in pooh.
I just needed a bit of guidance so that I know what to bring, in case there had been any change in criteria moving to 10m.
If we're having an open sight entry then I'll probably stick with the B2. Just a question of whether to slap a scope on the XS78 and go "budget", or dig out the old Airsporter and go "classic" for the optical. So many choices

AaaargH, for the first time i'm not working & could get 1 day, but my bloody arm will probably still be in a sling from all the shoulder treatment i'm having which has to be followed by a long period of resting it, already pi$$ed of from not being able to shoot at all...mike...

Mick is there no one that can drive you there??

Coventry to Derby isn't that far. Plus you could take your time on the course & just shoot a few comps perhaps?

Cheers buddy i could get there, but the frustration of just standing & watching would drive me mad. No way can i shoot or reach forward or to the side GRrrrr...mike...

Thanks for your kind offer, but if i was to shoot i would want to do so on an equal basis being an old fashioned sod, theres a little while to go yet

also, if its needed i can bring my big tent, which will have room for people to sit in in the eve if the weathers bad, and will also have a sleeping compartment free if anyone wants it(will fit a few if you want to cosy upbe warned the walls aren't very soundproof), no point bringing it if no one needs it, ill just bring my pup tent.

This is a quote from Mike who runs the IPAS at our Meets.

As you all know I was intrending to come with my IPAS kit as usual & a couple of fun shoots as well.

Unfortunately I'm stuck in Italy at the moment & the chance of getting back in time is looking worse & worse. (took me 3 days to get here!)

Paddy has a contingency plan for the IPAS but I'm certianly going to miss you guys & gals from the friendliest club in the UK.

If I don't make this one hopefully I'll make the next, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for this one.

Hope to see you all sooner rather than later.

As Mike 'ewok' has said that he may be unable to come to the meet due to unforseen circumstances.

I have had another email stating that a member was going to attend but now is unable too, due to being stuck overseas.

I am going to try & get hold of some IPAS Plates so we can have the competition as normal.

If I am unable to get some plates I intend to use the Speed Memory shoot as the awarded competition, & the Shoot Your Cards Right as the fun shoot (which I only finished making at the weekend).
