As Mike 'ewok' has said that he may be unable to come to the meet due to unforseen circumstances.

I have had another email stating that a member was going to attend but now is unable too, due to being stuck overseas.

I am going to try & get hold of some IPAS Plates so we can have the competition as normal.

If I am unable to get some plates I intend to use the Speed Memory shoot as the awarded competition, & the Shoot Your Cards Right as the fun shoot (which I only finished making at the weekend).

    Click >>HERE<< for pictures.

Sorry for this however we WILL still have a good two days as we will be in good company

We was going only to do this one Meet this year, however that is always subject to change

    Regards
    Paddy.
That sucks ass, as the saying goes in the states by all accounts

Any chance of delta1 bringing his along if he’s got them yet? And/or maybe his shot timer?

i don’t mind recording the ipas scores for the day. all i did last time was shoot the ipas plates when no one was on them anyway so it will be just as much fun for me, if we can’t get some plates we could always re arrange some of the targets they’ve got at the greyhound, (if we were allowed for the day) it wouldn’t be regulation ipas but but square plate or bunni/crow its all the same fun

Lightbulb IPAS No I don't Pass

    Hi Paddy.
I have some steel sheet with the right sort of "ding" and was going to use it as a backstop. I will be able to get a couple of IPAS plates out of it if you send me the sizes you want. Let me know what sizes (I have the regs so I just need to know which ones you intend to use) and I will see how many I can get from this plate.

I have the plates on order, collecting Monday, stands are built, timer's on charge (just getting the hang of it) so we're all pretty much "go" for an IPAS shoot at the Meet.

I'm afraid you will have to be a little patient, as this will be the first "proper" IPAS shoot I've done. So its probably as new to me as it is to many of you.

I've ordered the plates at 250mm by 250mm square x3mm thick so not sure what noise they will make, its going to be a little harder than last time.

The more plates the better though, maybe we could have a cammo stop plate in honour of the Main Man? (chuck your paints in the car Paddy)

it might be because hes still partially on the naughty step, a mod has to approve his posts so they don't appear for a little while

IPAS plates now in the van.

Some small tweaks to the set up, (probably on site) but I'm all ready to go!
