Benjamin Franklin 342
Hi all,
Yes another newbie here, and for that my profound apologies, though i first started using airguns about 40 years ago, its a recent event that has got me posting, and looking at my 37 year old BSA Mercury S and my collection of early Airgun Worlds.
About 4 months ago on a regular trip to our council waste site, i picked up, quite a tired looking air rifle, brought it home and took a close look, after unblocking the barrel, yahoo it works! turns out its a Benjamin Franklin 342 .22 checking on Crossmans website, the serial number seems to suggest that it was made circa 1973, i need a couple of spare parts for it, and i could use a little help in trying to establish its spec, ie likely performance, how many pumps etc etc.
Also have Airgun worlds any value, i have both vol 1 and 2, and really dont se tha need to hang on to them, photos of the Benjamin are available, i just dont know yet how to post them.
Wow enough for now.

Benjamin Pump Cup
An inexpensive pump cup for Coleman Stoves/Lanterns should fit a Benjamin.
It is "Pump Cup Package - Part #216A5091".
Consists of a Pump Cup & Backup Plate.
Should be available from any outlet selling Coleman stoves or lanterns.

Benjamin 342
Manual for the BF342 recommends maximum 8 pumps.
Expected MV for 14 grain pellets = 625-650 fps.
I have all the operating & parts manuals if you need them.
