Arrow Mil dot range finding charts

Hi all. I have got hold of an ags 12 x mag mil dot scope. But the only range finding chart that come with it was for a 16 x mag.this is of no use to me as the calculations will be incorrect. Does anybody out there know where i can obtain a download for
a 12 x mag mildot range estimating chart. Or is it going to be a long day down on the range with a surveyors tape and a note pad ? Cheers mick

Assuming it is a second focal plane variable...

For aim points, keep all ranges the same and simply multiply the dot values by 3/4, ie 12x/16x.

For instance, if 50 yards was 2 mildots at 16x, it will be 1.5 mildots at 12x.

For ranging, is the scope true mildot at 10x or max mag?

    Hi Mick

If you PM me your email address, I'll send you a ranging spreadsheet which allows you to enter your preferred mag.

    Cheers
