my local shop has a mint hw80k in a custom stock which he is selling,barrel is not stamped with 'hull cartridge' and there is no visible serial number.how old do you think it could be?

no it does not,thinking of buying it even though it is very expensive.just wanted an idea of age.

I wouldn't worry about age at all - I would go by condition. Has the shop got a test facility so that you can fire it and assess how smooth it is?

Mine cost £180 with a really good scope included, mine says West Germany so at least before 1989
