If you mean rifles currently available as new, I'd have to say the .177 walnut stocked Theoben Evolution, the .177 walnut stocked Air Arms TX200 and/or Pro Sport, any cal current Daystate, and any cal Hogan Ripley Elite.

... Actually, that is probably quite true, but imo the rifles as detailed in my last post will be the cream of the crop from 2008/9/10.

If you look at what's collectable today some stuff becomes collectable because very few examples exist, this can be due to limited high quality production or the self destruction of most of those produced.
Assuming Airguns are still allowed I expect there will be a few surprises

hi i think any PCP in .22 calibre as most seem to be in the preferred calibre these days of .177 abit of a role reversal as nearly all the older spring guns were in .22 but now the .177 springer's are fewer on the ground and command a slightly higher price

Nothing that is mass produced including AA's, BSA's, Webley's or W'rauch's unless something is very rare or very limited in quantity due to a limited run.
I dabbled with antiques a while back and I found that anything of real value now was really expensive and rare back when it was originally produced ! Most of these items were well out of reach to most of the population except for the very rich.
If you want to make "a stab" at it, then I would go for;

Early Theobens, low numbered R7's, SLR 88, Elan, Duel Magnum, Sirrocco.
Venom custom's.
Wiscombes.
Ripley's
Possibly Weihrauch limited runs.
Feinwerkbau Sport and 300's
Some of the top end match rifles. ie. Styer, Walther, Anchutz etc.

All must be MINT quality to fetch the best price !

They may not be the best airguns around and in some cases the quality might be suspect to say the least but maybe, just maybe, the military style jobbies will become very desirable in years to come. You know the kinda thing I mean;

- Yunkers AK47 Co2
- Brocock AR15 Co2
- Air Arms/Sussex Armoury Jackal range
(talking of which - where's Paddy?)

One reason is the fact that our laws are now really biting into what style of gun 'can' and 'cannot' be sold. So examples like some of those above may no longer be produced in a few years.

Another stems from the idea that generations from now some old grampa will sit down with his grandson, produce a Yunkers and say "LOOK what people were allowed to buy away back then!!"

Hi, I rekon on the early Titans as a collector. They were one of the first mass produced pre-charged rifles.And nice ones are not easy to find. Perhaps I`m biased as I have two Bearcats, one in .177 and the other in .22!!
