    worn piston?

having refurbed a fairly large number of springers and several for bbs mates one problem keeps rearing its head is the worn slot on the piston where the pin slots into the piston on cocking ,this often with age creates a groove stopping a clean lock i have honed a bit of a skill here and by rewelding and refacing the slot have got a 100% fix i also polish the faces of the rest while im at it so dont bin them as this is usualy pretty expensive to replace if not impossible to source ;give me a pm and go from there .

Thumbs up Vote for this man

Bob has done a Webley falcon piston and a Webley mk3 piston for me. The cocking arm slot wearing is a common problem on small Diana,s and Webleys and common on the falcon. Im just doing a G80 which has this problem as well. The two pistons that Bob has done for me have needed very little finishing with fine wet and dry to get them to fit. happier with that than one that goes straight in without any work as I know it fits. I didnt even send him the cylinder! Good job

    Thumbs up Another vote

For Bob and his welding. He has done an Airsporter piston for me AND a couple of hawk safety catches. He has really helped me out getting the olde, knackered, abused and unloved back working again. Thanks Bob
Ps forgot to mention the G80 piston he did for me a bit back.
