    Valuation

Okay as you obviously know what /where this is placed in the market value of things and we don't , what value do you place on this item so I can possibly try and make a swops to equal or better value .

I've seen Britannia's sell for £300 at auction and then the same for £500 on a Dealers table at Bisley . I've seen heard that some versions are rarer than others and fetch near £1000 .

Have only ever seen two Britannia's , at the home of the Dealer Malcolm Munslow and both were around £450 each .

Some pointers would be appreciated .

I appreciate this and it is difficult to value as there is none of the original bluing showing, just untouched brown patina but she is one of the early ones.

I would value this between £350-£550 exactly the same as a MK2 .25 Service strangely enough

I was offered a reasonable sum for the rifle but as I could not find a .25 or a MK1 Webley rifle to buy with the proceeds I declined the cash hoping the swap might tempt someone who has duplicates, to part with one.

Stunning rifle that Mr Stanton...bit too modern for me but, I am sure it won't be around long.
