    Just buy a completely new rifle Will save you the trouble of searching for spare sights.
    The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.

    Foresight

    The foresights and Williams backsight according to my Owners Manual ( read folded A4 leaflet ) by BSA for the Stutzen were sold as optional accessories . I have handled a few Stutzens both tap load and Rb2 and somehow most all had sights fitted . Early adverts in the Mags showed some retailers selling these Stutzens in two options - with and without the sights
    Check the threaded hole for the foresight - it should appear way too small to take the large sight screw - in fact there should be a hex headed bolt sunk down deep inside this hole to keep dirt out . Once you thread it out with a suitable Allen key you'll fit the foresight in no probs . Very nice of BSA to think of owners in this kindly manner . Only wish they sold the Stutzen with sights from the start

    Just got a stutzen RB2 1992 - 2000.
    Does anyone know if the fore sight ALWAYS had a hood?
    I must admit I prefer it without one;
    Cheers Dave

    Foresight Hood

    Hi ,
    the Stutzen Foresight assembly consists of 6 parts each with its own serial number - the cast alloy base unit ( with the post element , washer ,screw , retaining pad ) and a blued steel hood - and sometimes I leave it off as it does look nicer without
