something from the shooter next to me came in the side of my glasses and bounced into my eye, bang 3 think it was a bit of carbon or something from an LBR

I made a little side shield from a pop bottle to slip on the arms of my (prescription - so no wraps) glasses to stop this happening, mainly incase of an ejected case from my left, but may be worth a thought......

Highlights: I cleaned the Advancing Man CF (iron sights) and got a best run of 1.85 secs in the steels smallbore, so well happy :-)

What kind of tricked out Ruger are you using for the speed steels mate?

Boggo ruger action and barrel from 1977 :-) in a Barracuda stock.
For the steels I use a red dot sight rather than a scope.
Normall I use a cheapo 3-9x50 AGS scope on it.
At the moment I've invested in a Kidd trigger, as my wifes was playing up so she had mine, but it's made bugger all difference to my shooting!

oh yeah, will be shooting 1500 GRCF for first time at bristol, western winner in a few weeks, just as practice, I doubt I will get all the rounds off, never manged in practice to get all 12 in 30 seconds

phoenix I will be there all 3 days, GRSB, GRCF and LBP, t+p1, MT, adv. target, 1500 bianchi LOL

not usre which is going to cost more, entry fees or ammo LOL

Have you got a an NJS cartridge belt or similar mate? or do you have a bumbag or some such? I found that having the proper belt really helped my time. I think its all about slinging those 12 in 30 seconds down as fast as you can... rather score a hit than still have them in the gun when the targets edge!!
