    dating webleys

    I have aquired 3 webley mk3s series2 serial no 17280, a series 3 no 35641 and a series 4 with no A7039. can anyone date these for me please.

    According to The collectors guide:
    MK3 series 2: made from 1949 to 1957.
    In 1957 the stock changed to the rounded 1.
    The series 3: 1957-1961 The scoperamp can in 1961.
    Series 4: 1961-1964
