    Webley Mk1 wooden straight grip pistol

    Webley Mk1 wooden straight grip pistol cal 177. Serial number 28176 with trigger adjustment and safety catch, inspection mark AW, date circa 1930. All metal with walnut grips with brass medallion set in one of them. On left hand body of gun is stamped Webley and Scott Ltd birmingham, with great britain patent with others towards the end of the chamber, on right hand side of gun is stamped webley air pistol mk1 made in england end of air chamber again stamped japan and other patent. Left hand side of pistol i would class in mint conditon, right hand side some rust marks on front part of body, wooden grips excellent condition a really nice pistol. £145 posted will be advertising in guns for sale section thanks bob

    Probably nearer 1935 but I will take it anyway, that is subject to your description being accurate (mint but for . . etc)..

    It was made around 1927/8, guns made after 1929 did not have Birmingham and London stamping.

    Look gunspring I still have not seen any clear pics of the RHS, the marks in the blurred pics make it look far from mint so lacking evidence of its condition I must withdraw my offer. If you can show me clear pics and those brownish marks are just reflections I will reinstate it.

    Sorry but at this money I really want to be sure.
