Rules for 2010
Over the long winter months we have reviewed the rules for this series and will be making the following changes:
Classes.
We will be introducing an extra class for under 13's, making the classes now:
Open
Recoiling
0.22(if numbers allow)
Junior 13- 16yrs
Junior under 13
Handicaps
No handicap points for Open, recoiling, 0.22 or Junior 13-16
4 points will be applied to Juniors under 13. This is primarily for team score purposes.
Badges
Gold awarded to
top 5 in open class(+equal 5th scores)
top 3 in other classes(+ equal 3rd scores)
Silver and bronze awarded to
next 5 (and subsequent 5 for bronze) in open plus equal scores
next 3 (and subsequent 3 for bronze) in non-open plus equal scores
Trophies will be awarded for each class - details to be published soon.
We hope you agree that this makes the series clearer and better reflects the phenomenally high standards set in all classes over the past season.
