    valuation please bsf mod 70 and 80

    hi there can anyone help with a valuation on two rifles i have .
    one is a bsf mod 70 and the other is a bsf mod 80 both rifles are in very good condition

    You need to post pictures really.. In good used condition they would be worth about 150-200 quids and in 'suprisingly very good condition' over 200 quid.

    BSFs are seemly pretty rare in the UK, but they are the epitome of classic old spring guns and very powerful. Most people seem to want a BSF B55, but the longer barrel versions are just as good, if not better as the greater weight makes them easier to shoot accurately. They have a great deal of character and are sturdily made from steel by proper German craftsmen.

    As few have been up for sale on the BBS it is impossible to give you an accurate estimate, but do a search and you may find some precedent prices. Depends on who is after one, and how much they want it ...
