    One of the first HW35s

    Sorry, yet another HW35 thread....

    I'm dedicating this thread to I.J., who recently expressed his deep fascination for pre-Rekord Weihrauchs.

    For anyone interested, I've posted up some pics of one of the very first HW35s on the American Vintage Airguns site, where pics can appear in threads.

    This is the rifle I'm talking about, which probably dates from around 1951:

    Thanks for that Garvin. Any information on the HW35's is very welcome. I for one, can't get enough....on the HW35's that is!

    Very impresive, looks the biz even without the rekord set up amazing there still beeing made and still a classic. i just got one with the laminated blue stock as a present to myself for me birthday, that will make 4 Hw 35,s. 2 are Vixen Standards in .22, one 35e .22 and now this Hw35k .22. Love the 35 u may have noticed

    I am not a lover of the Germans, probably because I have found them to be as arrogant as we Brits are! - but I have to admire their attention to detail, precision and quality. Whether it be cars,houses, football or the meagre air guns, they just have to produce the best.

    Apart from the early (and in a mess!!) Export, THIS is the only other 35 that i have at the moment
