This is the same gun you mentioned before in this thread, #5:

    http://www.airgunbbs.com/forums/show...hlight=khamsin

There where questions about it being made by Air Arms (see posts 6-8-12), but they where never answered ??

How can it be made by Sussex Arms as that company was called Sussex Armoury ?
The Khamsin I own has a LOWER number then yours,so its older but it has "Air Arms" stamped between the scope rails,so how can yours be made by a no-longer excisting company (by then)?

Could it possibly be a Khamsin STOCK with a Sussex Armoury action ?

Please explain WHAT kind of rifle you are selling ......

This is all related to the sale of the rifle ,because a UK friend of mine is seriously surching for a original Khamsin .......

After having had some PM's from PaulW6969 it still isn't clear what gun it is

Just to remove any doubt about HOW a Khamsin should look like.

There was a AirArms khamsin for sale at the gun show in Newark at the weekend and it was £249, I only glanced at it but it looked to be in quite nice condition, almost tempted

    Hi

Who told you that? As when Sussex had the Jackals all were stamped Jackal on top of the Cylinder & they had a different lever release, Button on Sussex & latch on Air Arms.

However very early Air Arms Models had Sussex Armoury components, but this was before Air Arms done the Khamsin.

    But I may be wrong..

This is what PaulW6969nhas send me by PM:

MY NO IS ON THE TUBE NEAR END OF BARRAL SOME PEOLE GET MIXED UP WITH CAMARGE MINE IS SIDE LEVER THUMB HOLE STOCK I HAVE RANG MIKE AT AIR ARMS HE GAVE ME THE INFO ON MY GUN VERY EARLY MODEL MADE IN 1998 SOLD TO UTTINGS IN NORWICH

then he corrected the date in another PM,stating it was made in 1989 .......

When I told him the Khamsin was introduced end of 1985,beginning 1986,I got another PM stating the gun was made in 1985 !!!

I then told him that MY OWN Khamsin was clearly marked "Air Arms" between the scope rails and had a MUCH lower serial number (about 10011 numbers earlier ! ) ,how he could explain that while his gun was made LATER then mine,HIS was a early Sussex Armoury model ?????

I never got a clear answer to ANY of my questions or even ONE single pic,so I have to advice my UK friend to stay clear of this deal
