    Thanks Ian, that's great. Gareth, unfortunately my German extends only to a small selection of gun-related terms, like stock, barrel, blueing etc. Useful for egun, yes, but bleed'n hopeless for an article like that.

    Well, the modern gun shown is a special issue 34 in Walnut with (Scottish chequering) and a gold trigger & will be time limited to this year alone.
