The wardrobe fairy is getting claustrophobic and as I’ve recently added a few *cough* full sized beasties to my hoard its time to try and release a few more duplicates back into the community…..

The Diana Series 70 Model 74 came out in the late 1970’s and was in production until about 1980 when it was re-launched as the ‘Model 75’.
Its essentially an updated version of the earlier Model 16 in a more modern chunkier looking stock.

It has a wooden stock and blued sheet metal action. The barrel is a 12 inch .177 calibre smoothbore brass liner barrel with screw mounted foresight and bead rearsight.

Condition; fair to good. The top of the chamber is marked SERIES 70 MODEL 74 MADE IN GT BRITAIN. Fore and rear sights are original. The wooden stock has no splits or repairs just a general marks and scuffs to the dark varnish finish. I have another of these that we stripped the varnish off and oiled and it looks a hundred times better. It’s a solid wood stock so it’d really benefit from some attention. The small plastic medallion is missing; hence the small circular recess on the left hand side.
The metal work is in very good order with 95% of the blueing intact.
The number 2752 is stamped to the end of the butt, so it could be a date code for around 1975.
It cocks and fires fine. –These are not high powered rifles.
