    Diana G79

I have been loaned a Diana G79 to service by a friend of mine who has had it in his loft for about 10 years, he is thinking about selling it, so I have two questions.
    1. Can anyone tell me anything about these, ie. when they were made etc.,
    2. An approx. value, it is in reasonable condition but no where near mint.

Many thanks and living in hope of a reply.
The armourer, with no where near as many guns as I used to have.

I can tell you a bit as I bought one new in 1978.Its the same basic rifle as a G80 but with a plane stock. They were made by the Milbro company in Scotland.
Mine was very accurate and would have been about 9ftlbs.
Not sure on value, one of the experts will be able to help there.
    Cheers,Pat.

Hi, according to the book introduced in 1972 series 70 model 79 was the deluxe model. Model 78 was the standard model.. Prices were £17.25 = deluxe and £15.00 standard..
