Shouldnt affect accuracy if fitted correctly. May alter balance if removed for comps.
I am just swapping my AAS200 over to diopter sights to do some target shooting....
However I have notice how load it is without a moderator...
This causes me issue for garden practice as I used to shoot all hours very quietly.....
Can I:
Fix the front mount further back on the barrel (would need to file a small grove to local the fixing screw).
The have the usual UNF adapter on the end of the barrel.....
Is this likely to negatively affect the accuracy?
Any thoughts
Pete

Make every shot count.
Thanks for the reply.
I managed to squeeze it all on, didn't file the barel but used a level to make sure the front and rear dovetails were both level....needed to add risers front and rear to move the sight line above the moderator..
Sounds good...
Now to turn the S200 down a bit.......

I have seen a modoripper job uk neil did for big Phils s200. Meant to act as a silencer and air stripper so could find it more accurate, but won't hurt accuracy like a dodgy silencer with holes like a clowns pocket can
It incorporated a rail for the front diopter
