    Feinwerkbau?? 600 something?

    Hello Anoraks!

Quick one for you, whilst at the Shooting and Countryman Show in Nottingham. I had a go on the Bell Target range.

I was shooting a Feinwerkbau (i think) 600 or something?

It was I think pneumatic, side lever cocking with a flip up on cock, flip down breach / pellet load.

The whole thing closely resembled an AA Pro Target but with a sidelever.

I was seriously impressed with it!! amazing gun! Lovely trigger!!

    Question is.. what was it?

Had an odd large peice of Aluminium wrapped around the barrel, about two third of the way towards to muzzle, after the band.

    Thanks

    Adam

Well from your description it was one of the FWB 600 series rifles.

Did the cocking lever have a ratchet system on it?

Pronounced 'Fenner-bow', excellent rifles, closely linked to Weihrauch mid 20th century. Not cneap, but well worth owning.

It was a 600 series Feinwerkbau. They had a 300s recoiless springer as well.

The strange lump of aluminium is the adjustable muzzle weight.

I was on the Lincs HFT club stand next door to them both days.

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.
