I wonder what they cost? I found this link to some other pictures and information, it seems to be an earlier version of a "Ratcatcher" with a detachable stock making it into a carbine , I'd love to see some pictures of one, and I want one even more now

I had one some years ago, quite rare and sought after.

    Horrid to shoot

The 'Certus' Air Pistol/Rifle is a very rare beast indeed. They were not produced for very long and I believe were not very popular/sucessful as airguns go. If i remember correctly they could be supplied with a fully fitted out case and an optional detachable shoulder stock which turned the pistol into a carbine. I saw one for sale at an aution once in London and it made around £1800 I think. That was when you could get a good Webley Senior for £50.

    Certus Pistol

Must agree with Richard H, very rare and collectable. The one I had, needed both hands and both forefingers to pull the trigger.Sold in auction for well into four figures..

Saw one for sale at an arms fair recently around the £1100 mark. A rare beast indeed.
