B.S.A Airsporter Mk2 Project
Hi, I wont get round to finishing this, so here is a chance for someone else to step In, as title states Mk2 GD prefix......
1,Blueing long gone...No rust though
2,Front sight has an aluminium replacement that someone has made and soldered In, which needs removing, opening cleaning up and the replacement blade and grub screw fitting...Parts supplied
3, The stock has been repaired ay some stage ...Glued, pinned and filled as can be seen by the pics....I have had the rifle a while and never had a problem with this
4, The mainspring has been replaced with a John Knibbs replacement and Is still shooting In
5, the piston crown and leather washer have been replaced with John Knibbs supplied parts
6, New trigger spring...John Knibbs
7, Rear sight was missing when I got the rifle...John knibbs supplied a new folding sight, which really Is spot on
8, Cylinder polished and lubricated All in all the rifle shoots very well
9, Trigger block stripped of paint needs refinishing
