    MAD Open 7th March

Well MAD is definitely the place to be when the wind is blowing, with only 4 people scoring above 50.
There wern't many tears, but plenty of confused faces in the carpark afterwards, with everybody agreeing on what a brilliant course it was.

It's soooooooooooooooooooooo frustrating, when you give loads of wind, then you miss the kill by a pellets width, or the pellet lands where you actually aimed, think the MAD wind is worse than Quarry.

    Frustrating but fun...
    In a masochistic way

Another cracking day out, capped off with Owen being able to buy some of his own pellets at last

    To-day at MAD

First well done to you all for shooting today some new chaps came for the first time and they have said they enjoyed them selves WOW .
Great shoot ,plenty of reducers and mini;s getting us ready for Lea Valley.
the wind at last blew today for a nice change .
Had about 10 new members join today so this looks good for the future of the club as they may well start shooting competitions at some time .
To all the members that are representing the Club in the nationals well done to you all and good luck .

    Bonus Bunny and cards

Well today we ran the club like the UKAHFT event ,all cards out of the hat for partners and every-one was told that thei cards had to be filled out as per the new rule by the UKAHFT;ers ,about 12 out of the 41 people that shot would have had points taken off them by the UK;ers so every-one beware next week at Lea Valley.
2 tenners and a £20.00 were paid out for the bonus bunny .
    Darren Quincey £10.00
    Gary Chillingworth £10.00
but the best one was the Junior [we had about 6 Juniors shooting and they shot for FREE today just to help Dad out who was told not to share with DAD ,so the £20.00 went to a little helper that helps me while he is bored waiting to shoot ,was Owen Marriot who came from Leicester with his Dad this morning ,well done to you both for making that long trip to the club.

Never shot in wind like that before,i'm giving it 1.5'' and going straight and the next shooter straight down the neck. It was the most cruel shoot i have done,so well done to the winners and the FAC owner and to the course setters and looking forward to lea valley.
