    Fwb

FWB's prior to serial number 5000 have a smaller seal according to the spares section in my Beeman Guide.

    Fwb

Any car spares shop should have a selection of o rings one of which should fit. I'll check ny Beeman Guide tonight to see if it has the spec.

I am sure it should be rubber though not leather...

I hope you do not mind me asking this question here ...

Which guide is that? Is it a book, or on-line information?

    Cheers, Phil

the theoben rapid/bsa bud bottle seals are the same size as the fwb sports 127/124 i've never come across a leather breech seal on a fwb sport.

    Fwb

My info comes from an old Beeman guide from 1977 which is a posh name used by Dr Bob for his catalogue.

In it he states that FWB's prior to serial no 5000 have a 12mm OD seal those after which is the bulk of models produced are 16mm OD.

    Hope this helps

i have now fitted a rubber o ring and its sealing fine. the old seal was either leather or a fibre washer
