    old(ish) pellets

1 tin of h&n silhouette diabolo in .177 and 5 tins of h&n diabolo barakuda in .177.all tins unopened and marked as made in west germany so obviously pre unification.are they worth anything or should i just use them in the fwb 121 i'm awaiting delivery of ?

Hi......I am presuming the Barracuda's are the ones with a Orange paper label on the lid, if so, They are great shooting, if a bit on the heavy side pellets.

The tins do have a value, not as collectable as British tins for some reason, and the ones where the label shows about 6mm all round of lid seem to fetch more (some had labels that covered the whole lid, earlier one were the same design but smaller, and some have both.....the large label simply stuck over the smaller one)

I have seen these fetch between £3-8 at auction, ....

Going out in the Garden shortly for a quick plink, as after re-reading the above,I think I need to get out more
