    Can anyone put a date on a webley mark 3 serial number is 10653

    Webley Mark 3 sn 10653

    Appears to be "second type" produced May 1949 to 1956/57.
    Fluted stock, later trigger type.
    Numbers ran from (estimated) 6000 to 24500
