Bought one as described with all the kit for £20 inc. post a bit back, and just bought five (un boxed) off here (two in nickel) for £45 inc. post. Hope this helps.

If youv'e got the modern one with a blue box, with or without a clear plastic window then about £20 posted. If you have an early one in a green box with the "walking man" logo then a collector could pay up to £40-50.

Never heard of a green one with a Union Jack. One of the more recent boxes was pale blue with a small Union Jack in the top right hand corner and "Its a corker" on the side.

If your pistol has a safety catch then it is the later version, made from 1982 onwards.

Of the five I bought for £45 which you ask about above, one (nickel and in v-vgc) dated to between 1930 and 1933, the other nickel, the late 1960s, one of the black ones late 1970s, and the last two the 1980s. Yours sounds like a late 1980s example, so maybe £20 to £25 tops (inc.post).

    Climbing prices/value.

It never ceases to amaze me how much the Gat guns go for these days. I remember a hardware shop on Dinnington high street in the mid 70's called Manghams used to have these in the shop window at 99 pence. I always wanted one and my dad kept saying "no, they're a waste o' money. I'll get you summat better when you're a bit older". True to his word I got a Webley Hawk MkII for my 11th birthday.
The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.
