Valuation - custom 1 off pump action

I have had this gun for around 10 years now and believe it was around 15 years old when I bought it.
This is a one off built by a gunsmith who used to trade in Milton Keynes, it's not the most powerfull gun you will find and I have never crono'd it but it is well under the limit, not for hunting.
It is a pump up multishot, you pump it say, 40 times and get a few shots before it needs pumping again.
There is a scope rail on it and it's bolt action in .22.
It is in fully working order and the condition is good.

    How much is it worth?

i can't help thinking that you'd be knackered when and if spares are needed, based on that i'd say £100.

    valuation

well i have to be honest its not the prettyest or guns but that said all spares that might be required would probaly only be o rings as it looks like the rest of the gun is quite solid and agricultural in my opinion it's got to be worth £150.00 as a bit of a curio to a collector of pump ups

Wow! Buglespanner-meets Parker hale Dragon! Very nice! I'd agree with the other posters, £100-150 region for a nice quirky piece.

Does anyone else make what is effectively a pump up pre charge?
I would have expected a higher price for something so different and really quite clever, its very compact for a pump/pc hybred, not an antique, but getting on a bit!
This is the only one made by this maker, it was a personal project, you will never see one again. Looking at the style of the stock this isn't a bad thing

Hi, I think the valuations below are about right ,
It looks " not finished " having said that, its a lot of work !
I can see that the linkage wouldn,t generate much pressure, Albeit its low power, If It comes up for sale, I would be intrested in the purchase.

Yes, Another gun does use this system, Its a modified Sheridan, On sale In the USA, I think its Tim Murray, ( The Sheridan guru ) It uses an air chamber pumped up to 5 pumps, On shooting it uses 3 pumps worth Ha ha, To deliver 12 Fpe,
After the first shot, Only 3 pumps are required to keep it topped up !
sounds a good system, Cheers Ged.

    Hi Ged

I think the Sheridan you're thinking of is the one by Airguns of Arizona and sold as the air conserving pump gun (ACP).
I think it was jointly developed by Steve in NC and James Perotti.

Tim McMurray of Mac 1 airguns does the Steroid Streak conversions where he builds billet pump arms and dumps all on one shot.

    All the best Mick

    Hi,
Any gun is worth what someone is prepared to pay!! Perhaps you could sell it to Mick of Micks guns; you would then see what he asks for it on his web site.
