    Umarex Flat Head .177 Pellets

    anyone use them?

    what are they like.

    i usualy use gecos but cant seem to get them anywhere.
    Particle physics gives me a hadron.
    Sliced bread.
    The best thing since ripped up bread.

    always got them from JSR no problems & good price...mike...

    they're out of stock and don't know when they will have more.
    and i really need an alternative. I've run out of flat heads now so have nothing to shoot the ubc comps with, and using jsb exatcs for plinking is costing too much

    I also use rws hobbies in some of my pistols very good grouping

    I'll second the RWS Hobby, an excellent pellet, not too much dearer than the Geco, more widely available too.

    Hobby are very good pellets but the skirts are quite wide. You need to push them into the mag holes with some sort of probe otherwise the end of the skirt will stick out a tiny bit and maybe cause jams or damage seals

    Oh and the Umarex are rubbish. My S&W (not the CP88 as I said on another thread) came with a tin and I shot a few mags worth. Accuracy was so-so but I've never seen so much lead swarf, it was getting everywhere

    i went for the hobbys after.
    got the last 7 tins of gecos from jsr and a load of hobbys.
    wont feel as bad now when i blast through a tin

    i have some of thr umerx flat tops
    when i got my bretta 92 they seam to like the 92 good groops

    so pritty inpresed for a flat top lol
