Brutuz is a keen 2240 customiser, does some tasty work too. He has a website with video's I think, look in his profile or drop him a PM.

I haven't tuned it as such but have begun modding it - all steel breech block makes a great difference to the action - much crisper. Wood grips are a nice touch too.

Must sort the sights out though!

I found my 2240 was way low with open sights but was much better when I put a red dot scope on it.

Be very careful, and get a crono. It's surprisingly easy to send the 2240 over 6 ftlb. With a 10 inch barrel and some valve and hammer spring tweaking I was getting 60 5.5 ftlb shots from a 12gm capsule.

    2240

hi guys been while since posted,2240s big thing with me,allows me to build
custom CO2 N PCP pistols for all sorts uses, some i cant post without getting
    banned.
but end result same as you guys, cept i can do things that i guess not legal
    in your country.
Due to huge amount factory n custom parts its possible to build some very
nice air pistols at very reasonable prices,In my country we have bassially no
restrictions on power etc,so have a few more options.
    I have 3 2240 pistols one in CO2 n two PCPS,power 11-20fpe.
I found as previous poster that got better results with Hawke AD30 n Gamo
RD30 red dot sights than fancy target sights have on my guns, possibly due
to the unnamed purpose i use em for.
Havnt as yet tried any form organised target shooting with them, but
accurracey definatly as good as any my PCP rifles and out to surprisingly
    long distance.
My CO2 gun 11fpe n dosnt give more than 14 shots, bit expensive to run
so new guns both PCP,no more shots, but no cost either n lot more fpe,
These are awesume way to get really nice air pistols at a price dont need
hide from the wife,in fact mine decided she absolutly needs one now.
Any one who really wants to kick 2240s etc around can PM me.
    Cheers Mike
