    Question Slavia 618 .177

    Hi anoraks

LOL Only joking , how dare he call you that !

A friend of mine has been given a Slavia 618 in .177 calibre , all complete with slight surface rust and a good stock .

Any ideas on value please , I am guessing not a lot ?

    many thanks

    Not a lot is correct!

Anything between 25-45 pounds incl post depending on condition. They are a nice well made little junior air rifle and not worth selling unless he really doesn't have any use for it.

    LOL

Well I did tell him I thought it was worth about £20 , ' quaint ' little thing it is - excellent for a junior to waste a few hours plinking at cans on a summers evening .

Reminded me of a diana mod 25 actually

Quirky little rifle the Slavia, all metal except for buttstock, similar to Dianawerk Model 15, 32in. OAL, Mfg.1955-1965.
They were linked with the CZ factory, both producing the 618.
Very similar in construction to the Haenel Model 15.
Not rated at all by the majority of collectors, being classed as a 'throw away', but they still have a place in air rifle history. I like them.
