    Holts Auction...

    ANyone go and if so did they pick up anything interesting?...

    I see the Webley recoiless prototypes went... Not cheap

    Yes. I bought the cased BSA for the price Al mentioned and am very happy with it. I would have also liked the book "The Webley Story" but I was out of money by then.
    Overall a great day and well worth it even I you don't buy anything. I also noticed a pre-war Webley Junior pistol go unsold without a single bid so there can be some good deals had there.

    I don't know. I left just after the airguns went through, but I expect the price sounded like a phone number! A friend of mine was there for the whole auction so I will ask him tomorrow.

    Holts put the hammer prices up almost as soon as the sale finishes.
    The hammer price is at the bottom righthand corner of each lot
